Christmas Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Powder Sugar
- 1 Cup Butter, Soft
- 1 Egg
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Teaspoon Almond Extract
- 2 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon Cream Of Tartar
Directions
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Combine flour and baking soda, mix well and stir into wet ingredients. Cover, and chill dough for at least one hour (or overnight).
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- Divide dough into two and roll one at a time on floured surface to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into shapes with your favorite cookie cutters.
- Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 6 to 8 minutes.
- Cool completely.
